As a Principal Product Designer, you will partner with product management, engineering and business leaders to build delightful experiences for our customers, and establish and promote a design culture throughout the organization. The patterns and components you design and launch will help keep businesses and millions of end-users stay secure. You will use your creative superpowers to come up with and re-use UX and visual paradigms to help our users make data-driven decisions quicker.As a Principal Product Designer, you will partner with other designers, product management, engineering and business leaders to build delightful experiences for our customers, and establish and promote a design culture throughout the organization. You will articulate the design vision and strategy while overseeing the user experience and instilling design thinking into the product development lifecycle. This role requires you to simultaneously balance and drive design and technical goals and shape the visual design language for the user experience across the application suite. Manage the intake, scoping, planning, and executing of UX projects from start to finish
Comfortable proactively building domain knowledge by looking for opportunities to learn, research, and educate others with your findings
Connect user needs and business requirements thoughtfully and elegantly
Designs cohesive experiences that bring our design principles to life and looks beyond immediate scope of project deliverables that achieves harmonized experience.
Your design artifacts show maturity and depth, able to tell a story using user journey at macro level to details at micro interaction level.
Facilitate brainstorm / ideation sessions with cross functional stakeholders and UX peers.
Help develop scalable cutting edge and flexible global design guidelines to maintain clean and consistent user interfaces across products as we grow.
Rapidly visualize, prototype, explore multiple product directions, and validate hypotheses - understanding the business and technical impact of your decisions.
Apply your deep understanding of UX best practices and visual design to drive innovation while ensuring consistent and uniform experiences across products.
Collaborate with Product, Engineering, Content, and Marketing to deliver a cohesive experience across all channels, while scoping, defining, and iterating on a project.
Contribute to building out best practices and culture across the design organization and outside the immediate team.
Acquire deep understanding of our users by employing different techniques (e.g. customer interviews, surveys, usability tests)
Become a UX ambassador in and out of the organization.

Qualifications:

Must have 10+ years of UX and/or Product Design experience.
At least 5 years of experience designing in the enterprise and/or B2B domain.
Demonstrable track record of shipping world-class visual designs in Figma, Sketch or comparable tools with relentless focus on delivering simple and intuitive solutions to complex problems (strong design portfolio required, please provide a link and password if applicable).
Experience working with and contributing to Design Systems.
Demonstrable success in collaborating with engineering teams and bringing your designs to life across multiple engineering teams, disciplines and working in a multi-framework environment.
Excellent communication skills - ability to communicate clearly and distinctly, both verbally and in writing with peers and stakeholders.
Deep understanding of technical limitations and front-end development frameworks (HTML, CSS, React, Vue, etc.).
Experience with analytical or IT/Cloud Security interfaces is considered highly desirable
