Description:Position SummaryThis position is responsible for overseeing the new hotel onboarding and deflag processes working to leverage efficiencies through process evaluation/revision, automation opportunities, and workflow management. This position manages discipline, coaching and evaluations of the hotel build colleagues within Distribution Services. This position liases with peripheral departments within the GPGS, corporate office, and hotels to assist with planning/developing/executing revenue-impacting initiatives within Hyatt; new hotel builds, Hyatt Salesforce support, SOP collaboration, Reserve enhancement review, new rate initiatives, GDS support, etc.Position Responsibilities
  • Develop/Maintain Global Training & Development documentation for Distribution Services, including Distribution Services-centric enhancements, policies/procedures, RMT, New hotel builds, etc.
  • Develop/Maintain Distribution Service New hire training plan and facilitate global new hire training.
  • Meet regularly with key stakeholders to understand both general and specific learning and development needs.
  • Participate and facilitate project debriefs that allow ongoing improvements.
  • Assist with payroll, hiring and discipline for all Distribution Services hourly positions.
  • Manage the Distribution Services team. Mentor and guide colleagues and assist in maintaining good work conditions. Manage team rosters.
  • Assist and guide partners in Hotel with areas related to Distribution, that directly effect GPGS, Hotel and Guests.
  • Evaluate voice and email interactions of frontline DS colleagues according to established standards. Provide meaningful and constructive feedback on these evaluation. Identify potential customer interaction issues and highlight areas of risks to our business.

Qualifications:Qualifications
  • 2+ years’ experience with general Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) applications – intermediate to advanced proficiency preferred.
  • 1 or more years of experience with the Hyatt reservations system.
  • High school diploma (or equivalent).
  • Post-secondary education is preferred.
  • Able to efficiently use Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
  • Minimum 12 months’ experience with Spirit and Reserve maintenance
  • Exposure to Access is preferred.
  • Require exemplary communication skills (oral, written, listening)
