- Creatively support the Transportation Design and Engineering team with creating product designs, mood-boards, ideation sketches, base research, 3D modeling, and visualization to aid in the design process. Support in prototyping and experience design for the mobility solution.
- Assist the Design Director in day-to-day design assignments and long term projects.
- Candidates with diversified design project portfolio across automotive and consumer products industry will be desirable.
- Design thinking and an inclination for creative problem-solving.
- A cross-functional approach to design.
- Illustration skills to present ideas.
- Knowledge of 3D modeling and rendering software.
- Ability to prototype concepts quickly.
- Experience taking a design from concept to prototypes.
- Good understanding and execution of CMF, manufacturing processes, and ability to explore color schemes, CMF options for concepts. Get sampling done with vendors for the right CMF.
- Complimentary skills are essential: portfolio demonstrating great visual design and aesthetics sense, understanding of colors, materials, and typography, and understanding of experience design necessary for demonstrating products and concepts convincingly and thoughtfully.
