The team is responsible for accounting, processing transactions, reconciling client’s holdings and cash with custodian’s data, and perform Loan administration tasks. Maintain appropriate documents required as per regulatory norms for clients.What you will be doing

Processing transactions across different loan products (i.e Term Loan, DDTL, RCF)
Process Interest, Paydowns, PIK’s, Fees etc in Virtus Accounting platform
Reconciling cash breaks between Paying Agent and Accounting books.
Communicating and interacting with the business unit for query resolution.
Corporate Action understanding and processing.
Reconcile cash and custody activity for the clients involving complex transactions, reversals structures and process transactions related to security setups, acquisitions, disposals, incomes, paydown, pay up, maturity, write down and donation write -off.
General ledger account reconciliations and maintenance.
Report discrepancies that arise in a prompt and professional manner to the client, ensuring follow up and reconciliation in a timely manner.
Elevate unresolved issues/problems to Senior Client Support Specialist.
Custom and regulatory reporting.

What you bring:Knowledge / Experience

Should carry 3-7 years of experience in financial services, preferably Fund Accounting (Hedge Funds, Mutual funds, Insurance Funds).
Domain knowledge of financial products like Syndicate Loans, CLO, CDO, Bonds, Mutual Funds, Derivatives, Equities, MBS is mandatory.
Knowledge of reconciliation (Cash, Stock), Fund accounting, Trade processing and settlements
Experience of working on FIS products i.e IntelliMatch, Investran, VPM would be Added advantage.

Skills

Strong understanding of Capital markets, Reconciliation (Assets, Cash), Portfolio Accounting, Security Setup’s.
Proficient in Microsoft Excel. VBA Macro will be an added advantage.
Strong written and verbal communication skills

Qualifications

Master’s Degree in Commerce.
