The Officer will support day-to-day operational activities for the high touch client account, with a primary focus on SSI management, static data setup, and operational readiness across asset servicing workflows. The role requires strong attention to detail, adherence to controls, and effective coordination with internal and external stakeholders.Key ResponsibilitiesMaintain and manage Standard Settlement Instructions (SSIs) across markets, products, and custodians in line with client and regulatory requirementsPerform static data setup and maintenance (accounts, counterparties, settlement parameters, safekeeping attributes, cash instructions, etc.)Ensure timely and accurate processing of setup requests with proper validation, approvals, and audit trailsConduct daily controls and reconciliations to ensure SSI and static data accuracyInvestigate and resolve setup-related exceptions, failures, and client queries in a timely mannerLiaise with clients, custodians, brokers, and internal teams (Middle Office, Data, Technology, Risk) to resolve operational issuesAdherent to SOPs, risk controls, and compliance standards, including documentation and signoffsSupport UAT, system enhancements, and process improvements related to static data and SSIsQualifications & Skills6–8 years of experience in Investment Operations / Asset Servicing / Static Data / SettlementsStrong understanding of SSIs, account setup, cash and securities settlement flowsHigh attention to detail and risk awarenessAbility to work in a high-volume, time-sensitive client environmentStrong communication skills and stakeholder coordinationExperience supporting large asset managers is preferredAbout State StreetAcross the globe, institutional investors rely on us to help them manage risk, respond to challenges, and drive performance and profitability.
