- Supporting the local Sales organization or customers in determining the most technically appropriate, cost-effective solutions and in the preparation of demanding offers
- Providing technical support during the technical meetings, workshops, product presentations, negotiations and offers product or solution or service - related training
- Following ABB defined sales and bid process while leading or preparing or supporting development of technical or commercial offers based on customer specification requirements
- Defining cost for the proposed solution and communicating to Sales organization. Coordinating with procurement team to get best costs from internal and third- party suppliers
- Provides information to the risk review process in accordance with ABB policy and sometimes participates in the risk review assessment
- Analyzing customer needs and competitor offers through general market information and information provided by the Sales organization
- Performing win or lost proposal analysis, identifying potential cause and recommending future actions in cooperation with Sales or Local Business Unit to obtain better future results
- BE or B. Tech in Electronics or Control or Instrumentation Engineering
- Minimum 10+ years of experience in bidding or tendering for Turnkey projects in Automation (DCS or PLC or Safety PLC or Power Management Systems) solutions including cybersecurity for energy industries - ideally in Oil and Gas
- Experience in developing strong customer and internal relationships locally and globally. Open to learn ABB Digital platform for advance automation solution.
- Knowledge of ABB automation products like 800xA or Symphony, analyzing P and ID, PFD, finance, knowledge about market requirements and standards within the industry
