DescriptionJob:Technical Sales Support Manager / SpecialistReporting Line:Sales Support ManagerMission Statement:Support the Sales organization and customers throughout the proposal process in formulating technical solution for various power quality problems, preparing technical descriptions of the applied products and technology, support in determining costs, preparing final documentation, and serving as a key technical resource in the assigned area.Your Responsibilities:
  • Technical Sales support: Supports the local Sales organization/customers in determining the most technically appropriate and cost-effective solutions to meet their power quality requirements.
  • Provides technical support during the technical meeting and product presentations. Leads the technical discussion with customers, formulates technical solution w.r.t to power quality & harmonic analysis, recommends the best power quality solution post analysis and prepares technical proposal for the same.
  • Offers product/solution training.: Prepares and checks technical articles for publication.
  • Offer preparation: Prepares & supports preparation of technical proposals based on customers expectations in terms of power quality and organizational directives.
  • Participates in the kick off meeting organized by the project team, wherever required. Coordinates with Engineering team, Project management team, SCM, front tend team, end customers etc. and provide required support in each Project / Tender.
  • Taking ownership of the assigned work cost definition defines & estimates cost for the proposed solution and communicates to Sales organization, wherever required.

Background
  • For this role we are looking for someone with a university degree in electrical engineering combined with a minimum of 8-10 years of experience in Power Quality & harmonic studies, knowledge on power systems.
  • Previous experience in Capacitors, value-based selling, technical solution sales will be preferred.
  • To be successful in this role you must be a self-starter, a continuous learner, having good communication skills, power quality and systems knowledge and hold a strong customer focus. Preferably, you have a proven track record of managing and facilitating change.
  • Proficiency in both spoken & written English language is required
