This role partners with regional and global stakeholders to strengthen HR operations, drive talent programs, and fostering a compliant and engaging workplace aligned with global standards.As a key HR partner to business leaders, the HR Manager will support the growth and scalability of the GCC by overseeing the full employee lifecycle, managing employee relations, and ensuring adherence to Indian labor laws and company governance frameworks. The role combines hands-on execution with people leadership and cross-functional collaboration, supporting a diverse workforce across technology, engineering, shared services, and corporate functions.Key Responsibilities:HR Operations & Employee Lifecycle
- Lead end-to-end HR operations for the India GCC, including onboarding, offboarding, employee data management, and HR service delivery
- Ensure consistent application of global HR policies while adapting to local regulatory requirements
- Serve as primary escalation point for employee relations issues and workplace concerns
- Partner with business and GCC leadership on workforce planning, hiring strategy, and capacity scaling
- Support recruiting teams on hiring demand, offer alignment, and onboarding readiness
- Lead performance management, promotion cycles, and talent review processes
- Manage employee relations matters, investigations, and disciplinary actions in compliance with Indian labour laws
- Ensure compliance with statutory requirements (Shops & Establishments Act, Factories Act where applicable, POSH, labour codes)
- Partner with Legal and Compliance teams on audits and risk mitigation
- Support compensation planning, annual merit cycles, and incentive programs
- Partner with global Total Rewards teams to localize benefits and rewards for India
- Ensure market competitiveness and internal equity
- Support learning and development initiatives, leadership development, and manager enablement
- Drive employee engagement programs and culture initiatives aligned with global values
- Support change management and communication during periods of growth or transformation
- Act as a trusted HR advisor to GCC leadership and global HR partners
- Support HR reporting, metrics, and dashboards for leadership reviews
- Contribute to continuous improvement of HR processes and operating models
- A bachelors degree in human resources, Business Administration, Industrial Relations, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- Preferred masters degree in human resources
- 812 years of experience in Human Resources
- 5-7 years in an HR Manager or HR Business Partner capacity
- Experience supporting technology, engineering, or shared services organizations
- Experience working in a Global Capability Center (GCC) or multinational environment preferred
- Experience scaling GCCs from early stage to mature operations
- Experience partnering with U.S. or EMEA-based leadership teams
- Strong understanding of Indian labor law and employment practices
- HR certification (e.g., SHRM-SCP, SHRM-CP, CIPD, NHRDN) preferred
- HRIS platforms (e.g., Workday, SAP SuccessFactors, Oracle HCM)
- Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) (e.g., SAP Success Factors, Workday, Greenhouse, iCIMS)
- Performance management and talent systems
- India payroll systems and vendors
- Statutory compliance tools (PF, ESI, PT, Gratuity)
- Employee data privacy and records management
- HR dashboards and reporting tools (Excel advanced; Power BI preferred)
- Headcount, attrition, engagement, and DEI metrics
- Microsoft 365 or equivalent collaboration platforms
- HR knowledge base and case management tools
- Strong business and people acumen with a practical, execution-focused mindset
- Ability to balance global standards with local business needs
- Sound judgment in employee relations and compliance matters
- Effective stakeholder management and communication skills
- Capability to lead change and drive disciplined execution
- Bring hands-on experience managing end-to-end HR operations
- Are comfortable partnering with global stakeholders in a GCC or multinational environment
