- Monitor turbine operations in real-time using SCADA systems, tracking performance metrics such as power output, rotor speed, and grid connection status.
- Identify and report deviations from normal operating parameters, coordinating with the SCADA lead for further analysis and corrective actions.
- Respond to alarms generated by the SCADA system, following predefined protocols to assess, document, and escalate incidents as necessary.
- Maintain accurate records of incidents, actions taken, and outcomes to support continuous improvement and compliance reporting.
- Perform data logging and initial analysis of turbine performance data, identifying patterns that may indicate emerging issues or optimization opportunities.
- Support detailed analysis by preparing data sets and reports for use by engineering teams in root cause analysis and troubleshooting.
- Conduct regular system health checks to ensure all SCADA components are functioning correctly, including sensors, communication links, and control interfaces.
- Assist in basic maintenance tasks such as resetting alarms, recalibrating sensors, and updating software as directed by the SCADA lead.
- Adhere to cybersecurity protocols within the SCADA environment, ensuring data security and integrity are maintained at all times.
- Report any suspicious activity or security breaches to the SCADA lead, supporting efforts to safeguard system operations.
- Follow all standard operating procedures for SCADA monitoring, including guidelines for alarm management, data handling, and communication with other departments.
- Participate in regular audits and training sessions to ensure compliance with industry standards and internal policies.
- Assist in troubleshooting activities, providing real-time data and observations to support root cause analysis conducted by SCADA engineers.
- Document findings and recommendations from troubleshooting activities to contribute to the development of improved response protocols.
- Work closely with SCADA and operations teams to ensure coordinated responses to system events, sharing information and insights as needed.
- Communicate effectively with internal stakeholders, including engineers, technicians, and management, to ensure smooth SCADA operations.
- Engage in training and professional development activities to enhance skills in SCADA monitoring, data analysis, and system troubleshooting.
- Stay informed about updates to SCADA systems and industry best practices to maintain a high level of technical competence.
- Provide feedback on SCADA system performance, alarm settings, and response procedures, suggesting improvements to enhance monitoring effectiveness.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives, supporting the SCADA team in implementing new technologies and optimizing system operations.

- Diploma or BE in Instrumentation or Electrical Engineering.
- 1-3 years monitoring SCADA systems, managing system alerts, and assisting in incident response.
