Role Summary:We are looking for a results-driven Business Development professional to lead client acquisition and revenue growth for our legal recruitment practice. The role will focus on acquiring law firms, corporates, and in-house legal teams, building long-term client relationships, and supporting growth strategy.This is a hands-on role for someone comfortable engaging Partners, GCs, CHROs, and CXOs, and owning the full BD lifecycle.Key Responsibilities:- Drive new client acquisition across law firms and in-house legal teams- Own the end-to-end BD cycle: prospecting, outreach, pitching, negotiations, closures- Build and manage strong relationships with Partners, GCs, Legal Heads, CHROs, CFOs- Develop and maintain a healthy sales pipeline with clear revenue tracking- Work closely with leadership on market mapping, pricing, and growth strategy- Convert new clients into repeat and long-term accounts- Ensure CRM hygiene, reporting, and BD documentationRequirements:- 4-6 years of experience in Business Development / Client Acquisition- Proven ability to close B2B mandates and manage senior stakeholders- Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills- Comfortable with cold outreach, LinkedIn prospecting, meetings, and closures- Strategic mindset with a strong execution biasWhat We Offer:- High-impact role with direct ownership of revenue growth- Close working with founders and leadership- Performance-linked incentives- Clear progression into a senior BD / growth leadership role (ref:updazz.com)
