  • Provide subject matter expertise in irrigation engineering for digital transformation projects across agricultural and urban infrastructure.
  • Collaborate with digital teams to design and implement smart irrigation systems using IoT, GIS, SCADA, and remote sensing technologies.
  • Evaluate existing irrigation infrastructure and recommend digital upgrades to improve efficiency, monitoring, and control.
  • Support the development of digital twins and simulation models for water distribution and irrigation performance.
  • Contribute to the design of data-driven dashboards and analytics tools for real-time decision-making.
  • Ensure compliance with water regulations, sustainability goals, and digital governance standards.
  • Liaise with stakeholders including government agencies, farmers, engineers, and technology vendors.
  • Provide training and guidance to project teams on irrigation best practices and digital integration.
Profile/Skills:
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Irrigation Engineering, Agricultural Engineering, or Water Resources Engineering.
  • 8+ years of experience in irrigation system design, implementation, and management.
  • Strong understanding of digital technologies such as GIS, SCADA, IoT, and data analytics in water infrastructure.
  • Experience working on large-scale infrastructure or public sector projects.
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder engagement, and technical documentation skills.
