Job Title :- Area Sales Manager - RetailJob Location :- MumbaiRoles & Responsibility: -Experience: 6-12 Years
Essential Qualification: Graduate in any field, MBA preferredEssential Area of Expertise:FMCG channel sales, Business development, General & Modern
Trade Sales, Relevant location exposure, Frozen industry exposure is
a plus pointDesired Area of Expertise:sales forecasting, Invoicing and
redistribution and presentation skills.
Critical/Special Exposure: Worked in FMCG/Start-up/Growing companyInternal Interface (Designations)Work closely with Sales team, regional teams for timely execution,
Supply chain, Finance, Marketing, etc.External Interface (Suppliers/Govt
Bodies/Communities) Retailers, Distributors, etc
Reporting to: RSM- Retail Sales
Reportees (Function and Designation): TSM/TSI/BDE/PromotersPurpose of
the position Develop and implement sales strategies for increase of market share on sustainable basis
in line with AOP numbers.
 To direct sales team and establish sales targets category wise and pack wise, help them in
breaking the same geographically, monthly, weekly and daily targets. Strong in managing distribution network and Retail market in relevant location
 .
 Drive profitable sales and deliver on the Revenue targets.
 Generate new business through new distributors and markets in his state
 Implement beat wise and party wise target plan, achievement, analysis and review to guide
the team
 Tracking of distributor’s ROI, managing distributor’s discount and damage claims on regularbasis
 Beat planning, route restructuring for route efficiency, product placement and effective
usage of POSMs
 Monitor performance and take corrective actions
 Maintaining AVF (Availability, Visibility and Freshness) in the territory
 Effective freezer placement in all stores which gives effective VPO as per the size.
 Work within allocated promotional cost and ensure effective spending in driving sales and
brand building.
 Provide trade information, competitors’ activities and market intelligence to companyRequisite
