Working on the enquiries:- Work on the enquiries, Efficient machine planning and its availability, as per customer's requirement provide dispatch schedule considering raw materials availability.- Plan for the additional operations- Find out the paper requirements - check for the stock availability- If paper not available in stock, then need to order in require size and qty.- Check for the paper required dates on machine and it is in alignment with customers expected timelines.- Arrive on the timelines- In Exports case provide container plan (no of containers) with ex works and sailing dates available- Communicate with marketing and do reworking on the schedules as per requirement.Communication with marketing:- Understanding priorities, Special operations and align production accordingly- Help in finalising the jobs on in house paper stock available (Suggest suitable binding style or size)Communication with Plant:- Provide schedule to each machine for 2 days with job nos. and any additional details if any- Providing Cover sequence for printing as per commitments and binding requirements.- Providing sheeting instruction for paper as per machine requirement- Help in aligning binding sequence when crunch situation is there as per criticality, after binding activities and also, customers requirement.- Provide data to the plant regarding number of imps, qty. in binding or number of kitting's as per projections- Beforehand so that we can add capacity or provide sequencing as per commitments.- Provide tentative titles with qty. in particular container (as good as packing list) for every export job- Provide tentative weight for jobs to be planned for dispatch.- Provide information of colour if any special col requirement is there.- Provide info on number of imps and ink coverage so that much qty. of special ink can be ordered by plant- Provide details to plant which machines to be planned considering cost-effective scenarioPrepress:- Provide processing sequence for clients as per machine schedule requirement- Provide spine for all Section Sewing, Perfect Binding and PUR jobs as per paper planned- Checking of files for any specific requirements.Paper:- Follow up for text and cover paper as per machine and client's requirement- Provide solutions on size to avoid deckle, or fit jobs in deckle free size by changing binding style or reducing the size of the job after consultation with marketing
