Qualification - MCh/DNB in Surgical OncologySurgical Management & Clinical Duties- Perform diagnostic and therapeutic oncologic surgeries across various organ systems (e.g., breast, gastrointestinal, head & neck, soft tissue, gynecologic).- Evaluate and assess cancer patients for surgical intervention.- Plan and execute complex cancer surgeries with a focus on precision, safety, and outcomes.- Manage preoperative and postoperative care, including surgical complications.- Coordinate with medical oncologists, radiation oncologists, pathologists, and radiologists for multidisciplinary treatment planning.Patient Communication & Counseling- Provide clear and compassionate consultations on surgical options, risks, and benefits.- Educate patients and families about surgical procedures, expected outcomes, and recovery plans.- Support patients throughout their cancer journey with empathy and professionalism.Documentation & Compliance- Maintain detailed, timely, and accurate medical and surgical records.- Ensure adherence to hospital protocols, infection control, and ethical guidelines.- Participate in tumor boards and contribute to evidence-based treatment discussions (ref:biojoby.com)
