- Provide expert anaesthetic care for a variety of surgical procedures, including major and minor surgeries across multiple specialties.- Manage perioperative anaesthesia and sedation for patients in the operating theatre, intensive care unit, and pain management clinic.- Offer preoperative assessments to determine the most appropriate anaesthetic plan for individual patients.- Lead and supervise a team of junior anaesthetists and anaesthetic nurses.- Collaborate with surgeons, intensivists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure a multidisciplinary approach to patient care.- Contribute to the development of clinical guidelines and protocols to improve patient safety and care.- Participate in departmental teaching programs, including the supervision of junior staff and medical students.- Lead and participate in audits, quality improvement projects, and clinical research to enhance service delivery and patient outcomes.- Provide on-call and emergency anaesthesia cover as required.
