You will be working as Lead Project Engineer - Automation at global grade 15/14/13 and will be part of Process Automation Business Area for Energy Industries Division in Bangalore, India. In this role you will be reporting to Senior Engineering Manager and will be responsible for designing, leading, engineering, and commissioning of DCS / Automation Systems for Energy Industries. Your responsibilities Having good automation experience in Oil and Gas, Petrochemicals and Process Industries required Having experience of Industry, Functional Safety standards preferable Being responsible for development of design documents and project deliverables as per Project / Process / Domain requirement specifications Ensuring experience in systems hardware, application development and testing of a control system as part of the solution Having experience of Industrial Communication protocols, System configuration, Industrial networking, Cyber Security as applicable to IIOT (desirable) Focusing and leading standardization activities to enhance productivity of Engineering Having strong design experience, including development of Application software as per IEC 61131 programming standards, SFC's, test procedures, etc. Being responsible for implementation of reusable solutions, quality deliverables and accountability for on time delivery Your background BE/BTech/ Diploma in Engineering in Control and instrumentation or equivalent Experience: 07 - 12 Years Automation Experience: ABB / Emerson / Schneider/ Rockwell / Siemens / GE DCS preferable Experience in IEC Standards, Design, Application programming and Project Management (desirable) Excellent knowledge /experience of development in Software for the Process as relevant to the industry domain Ability to develop equipment specifications for small and medium-sized projects involving HMI's, DCS System and Hardware Experience in Design, configuration, integration, and implementation of process control solutions for Chemical and Specialty Chemical segments Proven knowledge of Software and Hardware design, Commissioning, and test experience with any of the DCS More about us ABB Energy Industries is enabling safe, smart and sustainable projects and operations for businesses across the oil, gas, chemicals, life sciences, power generation and water sectors.
