In this role you will be reporting to Senior Engineering Manager and will be responsible for acting as the technical lead for all engineering activities in assignments classified as low engineering complexity. Ensuring that the activities related to all engineering disciplines within the project are executed in an efficient and cost-effective manner, in accordance with contract specifications, quality standards, safety requirements and cybersecurity policies and standards.Your responsibilities

Evaluating, selecting and applying standard techniques, procedures and criteria to perform task or sequence of tasks for conventional projects with few complex features
Acting as a design authority (if needed) for a particular engineering discipline and completes the corresponding engineering assignments
Collaborating on project installation, commissioning and site activities, to clarify potential issues or provide solutions to rectify the engineering errors
Focusing and leading standardization activities to enhance productivity of engineering
Implementing of reusable solutions, quality deliverables and accountability for on time delivery
Managing and mentoring a team of automation engineers

Your background

Bachelor’s degree or diploma in control and instrumentation engineering or equivalent
Require 7 to 12 years of experience in IEC Standards, design, application programming and project management (desirable)
Good knowledge in automation (electrical or process automation) products like PLC, Scada and DCS with focus on providing packaged solutions
Industrial Automation experience from similar companies as ABB, End-Customers and ability to design and deliver Automation solutions by being part of the team or as an individual contributor
Experience in design, configuration, integration and implementation of process control solutions for chemical and specialty chemical segments
A collaborative, solution-focused approach, and strong written and spoken communication skills
