The Business Development Supervisor is tasked with overseeing the business development team’s efforts to expand the company’s market share and increase revenue. This role requires a combination of leadership, strategic planning, and operational management skills.Responsibilities:
- Leadership: Direct and supervise the business development team, setting goals, and providing guidance and support.
- Strategic Planning: Develop and execute business strategies that align with the company’s long-term vision.
- Market Analysis: Analyze market trends and identify new business opportunities.
- Client Relationships: Maintain and strengthen relationships with existing clients while identifying and pursuing potential new clients.
- Performance Monitoring: Track team performance against targets and implement strategies to improve results.
- Collaboration: Work closely with other departments to ensure a cohesive approach to business growth.
- Understand team dynamics and effective management practices. Supervisors should be adept at balancing individual tasks with overseeing team performance.
- Conflict Resolution: Ability to address conflicts within the team professionally and constructively.
- Motivational Skills: Inspire and motivate team members to achieve their best.

- A bachelor’s degree in business, economics, finance, or a related field with at least 4 years experience, with at least 1 year experience as a people manager or equivalent work experience that provides exposure to fundamental theories, principles, and concepts.
- Proven experience in business development with a track record of achieving growth targets.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal abilities.
- Proficient in CRM systems and data analysis tools.
