Job DescriptionDesignation: Senior / Middle Management - MarketingExperience: 3-8 YearsIndustry: Chemicals & PetrochemicalsPreferred Locations: Mumbai, Uttarakhand, Gujarat, Telangana, Andhra PradeshKey Responsibilities1. Business Development & Market Expansion
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities in segments such as:
- Pharmaceutical formulation and API manufacturing
- Food, flavors, and fragrances
- Cosmetics and personal care
- Edible oil and extraction units
  • Establish strong customer relationships and expand presence in the assigned territory.
  • Develop territory-specific strategies to grow market share and brand positioning.
2. Product-Specific Marketing & Sales
  • Drive marketing and sales efforts for:
- LLP (Light Liquid Paraffin), HLP (Heavy Liquid Paraffin)
- PJ (Petroleum Jelly)
- KL Solvents series
- FDA-grade materials
- Lubricants and base oils
- Bulk and specialty petrochemicals
  • Analyze customer needs, monitor competitor offerings, and tailor product positioning accordingly.
  • Coordinate internally with supply chain, production, R&D, and regulatory teams to align market and product strategy.
3. Key Account Management
  • Manage strategic accounts across key industry sectors.
  • Provide pre-sales and post-sales support (technical & commercial).
  • Handle customer negotiations, pricing discussions, and close long-term volume agreements.
4. Strategic Marketing Execution
  • Launch marketing initiatives and promotional campaigns aligned with corporate goals.
  • Track market intelligence and competitor developments to guide product decisions.
  • Use data-driven insights to optimize campaigns and improve conversion metrics.
5. Stakeholder Engagement & Cross-functional Collaboration
  • Interact with internal teams like:
- Procurement, Finance, R&D, QA/QC, and Labs
  • Ensure smooth coordination between external customers and internal functions.
  • Support documentation, compliance, and regulatory processes wherever required.
Candidate ProfileEducational Qualification:
  • B.E./B.Tech in Chemical Engineering or B.Sc./M.Sc. in Chemistry
  • MBA/PGDM in Marketing or equivalent will be an added advantage
Core Skills & Knowledge:
  • Familiarity with chemical & petrochemical product applications across multiple sectors
  • Strong commercial sense with ability to translate technical offerings into customer value
  • Awareness of FDA and regulatory requirements in pharma and personal care
Soft Skills:
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
  • Team-oriented mindset with the ability to work independently in a target-driven environment
