- Support the translation of Objectives & Key Results (OKR) into detailed requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
- Collaborate with engineering, architecture, and other Ford Business customers to facilitate the delivery of product features.
- Help manage and prioritize the product backlog, ensuring alignment with strategic goals and release plans.
- Participate actively in Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
- Contribute to the monitoring and analysis of product performance metrics, identifying areas for optimization and improvement.
- Assist in preparing and maintaining product documentation, including feature specifications, user guides, training requirements and release notes.
- Effectively communicate product updates, progress, and technical details to internal stakeholders.
- Utilize Jira daily to manage tasks, create and update user stories, track risks & issues, and monitor feature development progress.
- Navigate and understand complex Jira boards, dashboards, and reports to extract relevant information about team progress and project status.
- Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams or other service teams within Jira, ensuring clear communication and task handoffs.
- Help ensure data accuracy and consistency within Jira tickets, adhering to established workflows and best practices.
- Understand how Jira supports Agile methodologies like Scrum and Kanban, and contribute to optimizing team workflows within the platform.
- Assist in generating basic reports and dashboards from Jira to provide insights into project health and team velocity.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or a related technical field.
- 1-3 years of experience in a product-focused role (e.g., Product Analyst, Business Analyst, Project Coordinator) or in a software development team.
- Demonstrable experience as a user of Jira for task management, issue tracking, and workflow progression within a product management team.
- Foundational understanding of Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with an aptitude for learning new technologies and concepts quickly.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate ideas clearly and concisely.
- Proactive, self-motivated, and eager to learn and grow within a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
- Familiarity with other collaboration tools like Confluence is a plus.
