Job Category: Software EngineeringJob Description:Job Summary:If you are a Senior Quality Assurance and Testing Engineer professional looking for an opportunity to grow, Emerson has an exciting opportunity for you! Based in our EEEC Pune location, you will be required to implement all aspects of software and product testing within the Emerson Syncade team. This may include developing testing strategies that include conceptualization and development of the testing approaches (Manual vs. Automated), writing and maintaining test scripts and documents, perform analytics and produce actionable QA reports.In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:
  • Facilitate and be part of integrated QA and testing culture.
  • Write manual and automation testing scripts.
  • Follow industry standards and adopt innovative ways for QA and testing to improve the quality of software delivery.
  • Meet with Product and Software development team to determine the scope of the QA and testing needed for various software architectural components.
  • Document and present the QA metrics.
  • Foster culture of innovation and disciplined software testing practices to deliver business value.

  • Bachelor of Science or equivalent experience in Engineering/Computer Science or equivalent
  • Be able and willing to learn new technologies to meet the needs of the organization.
  • 6+ years in QA and Manual / Automation testing industry experience
  • High level analytical and troubleshooting skills.
  • Experience with test automation and frameworks
  • Work experience on Selenium, C#.
  • Proficiency in Software Unit Testing
  • Meticulous and committed to quality.
  • Excellent communication skills and strong time management
  • Proficiency in analyzing the User stories in Sprint Backlog, Test Scenarios, design Test cases, defect analysis and report.
