Role Overview - We are looking for a Sales Manager - Industrial Automation with strong experience in B2B technical sales of automation & control systems. The role involves managing key industrial customers, driving new business, and growing market share across assigned territories.- This is a front-end sales role requiring a deep understanding of industrial automation products and direct customer engagement. Key Responsibilities- Drive sales growth and market penetration for industrial automation and control system solutions.- Manage key accounts and end customers across Oil & Gas, Power Plants, Gas Plants, Metal, Chemical, Cement, and Process Industries.- Identify new business opportunities through end-user mapping, O&M mapping, and EPC interactions.- Manage the complete sales cycle: lead generation - techno-commercial discussions - quotation - order closure.- Promote PLC, DCS, HMI, Control Panels, Power Supplies, Automation Spares, Turbine Control Spares.- Conduct customer visits, presentations, seminars, and product demonstrations.- Maintain sales funnel, opportunity pipeline, forecasting, and CRM updates.- Coordinate with supply chain and service teams to ensure timely order execution and customer satisfaction.- Monitor competitor activities and provide market intelligence.- Ensure timely payment collection and long-term customer relationship continuity.Desired Profile- Engineering Graduate. (B.Tech / BE - Electrical, Electronics, Instrumentation, Automation, Mechatronics)- 5+ years of experience in industrial automation / control systems sales.- Strong exposure to B2B technical sales and key account management.- Experience selling to Oil & Gas, Power, Metal, Chemical, Cement, Food & Beverage industries.- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.- Target-driven, self-motivated, and comfortable working in a high-pressure sales environment.- Willingness to travel extensively within the assigned territory (ref:updazz.com)
