Drive AMD’s continued performance leadership on modern server workloads on virtualized and secure systems.
Optimize key workloads on AMD servers by identifying performance opportunities across the software stack – applications, operating system and hypervisors – and hardware

Develop deep expertise in AMD server microarchitecture to propose hardware/software co-optimization solutions.

Analyze real-world server workloads under virtualization and AMD SEV on cutting-edge hardware; collaborate with developers/designers to productize and upstream improvements.
Contribute to innovations in high performance, secure and virtualized computing environments of the future

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:

Strong background in Computer Architecture and Operating Systems
Hypervisors and x86-64 virtualization
Hardware performance counter monitoring and performance profiling
Linux kernel
Performance measurement, performance debug and characterization
Strong programming skills across C/C++/Python or similar.
Excellent communication skills (verbal, written, and presentation)

CREDENTIALS:

PhD in Computer Science/Engineering, plus at least 1 year of relevant experience
M.S./M.Tech in Computer Science/Engineering plus at least 3 years of relevant experience
B.Tech in Computer Science/Engineering plus at least 5 years of relevant experience
