In this role, you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on patient care by connecting Roche’s capabilities and resources to co-create solutions with key stakeholders involved in the patient journey. Your role is multifaceted, addressing diverse patient journey needs such as accelerating access to treatments, streamlining decision-making. This role is locally embedded in the ecosystem, it is an integrated role, functionally agnostic and it does not fit into the traditional concepts of Commercial/Sales or Medical Affairs. The PJP focuses on the importance of bringing the outside in, working with partners to uncover all potential opportunities to transform outcomes for patients, faster. They also bring the inside out, to bring Roche expertise, science and knowledge to the ecosystem.Key responsibilities includeThe primary (but non-exclusive) point of contact between stakeholders and Roche.Responsible for Roche’s products through their lifecycle and supports their appropriate use, which includes sharing their merits with HCPs.Disease landscape understanding and products’ knowledge.Responsibility of Roche’s products through their lifecycle and support its appropriate use.Broad understanding of the ophthalmology therapeutic area and its respective future pipeline, such that they can work on future-based solutions.Partners with patient journey stakeholders to remove roadblocks and unlock possibilities to deliver value for patients and the community.PJP acts as a system thinker with the ability to identify shared purpose among stakeholders and leverages this to co-create solutions with stakeholders in the ecosystem.Responsible for reporting the incident/accident immediately to SHE department. Attend / complete all requisite on-line and F2F trainings (Role specific, Safety Responsibility and Compliance) within specified time limit to ensure the learning outcome after the training has been implemented.Qualifications, Skills & ExperienceMinimum 8 years’ experience with 4+ years in Patient Services or similar preferred.Tertiary qualifications in science required, post graduate degree preferred.Consistent record of accomplishment of achieving objectives, collaboration and teamwork.Experience in agile ways of working is a plus.Strong business acumen with desired expertise in commercialization, medical and customer experience excellence.Growth mindset and deep understanding of patient journey(s) and related treatments in the ophthalmology area, enabling engagement at the specialist level.Broad understanding of Roche’s present portfolio and future pipeline, such that they can work on future-based solutions.Robust understanding of medical affairs strategies and tactics including clinical research.Excellent verbal and written English communications skills.Demonstrated excellence in relationship building and partnering at all levels within an organization.Creative approach to problem-solving with the ability to focus on details while maintaining the “big picture” view.Roche is an equal opportunity employer.Who we areAt Roche, more than 100,000 people across 100 countries are pushing back the frontiers of healthcare.
