The adventure begins right here, with you, at SITA.ABOUT THE ROLE & TEAMAs a Manager Project Financial Controller, you will not only bring expertise in financial control and forecasting but also play a critical role in driving transformation and innovation within the Borders Business Unit. Supporting the BU’s wider strategic priorities, this role requires a strong ownership mindset, commitment to outcomes, and a high level of self-leadership to ensure financial integrity, project performance, and proactive risk management.WHAT YOU’LL DO

Work closely with the Project Manager to clearly articulate the financial performance of the project versus the approved Business Case.
Prepare annual budgets, quarterly forecasts, and monthly estimates, along with variance analysis and communication to key stakeholders.
Regularly review and analyze project financials, associated risks, and develop mitigation plans, including scenario modelling where appropriate.
Lead financial risk identification, assessment, and management throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring alignment with organizational risk frameworks.
Develop and maintain financial data models to support performance tracking, trend analysis, and forecasting accuracy.
Ensure compliance with IAS standards and internal financial policies.
Act as the Finance Partner in virtual project team meetings, offering strategic insights and financial guidance to the Project Manager.

QualificationsABOUT YOUR SKILLS

Certified Accountant (CA) with 6+ years of post-qualification experience in financial control, forecasting, and risk management for large-scale projects.
Demonstrated ability to meet commitments by proactively managing timelines, delivering accurate financial reports, and aligning with stakeholder expectations.
Proven ownership mindset, consistently taking accountability for end-to-end financial processes and driving resolution of issues with minimal supervision.
Strong self-leadership, prioritizing work effectively, staying adaptable in changing project environments, and consistently aligning actions to business outcomes.
Advanced Excel skills and financial modeling capabilities used to drive forecasting accuracy and support data-driven decisions.
Proven experience in financial risk management, enabling mitigation planning and proactive scenario modelling throughout the project lifecycle.
Ability to collaborate across cross-functional and virtual teams to ensure alignment of financial goals with broader business objectives.
Comfortable navigating ambiguity and complexity, applying structured analysis to deliver clear recommendations and solutions.
Strong communicator with the ability to present financial insights and influence decisions at both project and senior leadership levels
