- Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve sales targets within the government sector.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities within government nodal agencies, with a focus on Rail and Refinery sectors.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers and influencers within government organizations.
- Conduct product presentations and demonstrations to showcase the value proposition of our IT hardware and networking solutions.
- Prepare and submit proposals, bids, and quotations in response to government tenders and requests for information.
- Negotiate contracts and agreements with government clients to ensure mutually beneficial terms.
- Stay up-to-date on industry trends, market developments, and competitive landscape within the government IT sector.
- Collaborate with internal teams, including marketing, engineering, and customer support, to ensure seamless delivery of solutions and services.
- Maintain accurate sales records and provide regular reports on sales activities, pipeline, and forecasts.
- Attend industry events, conferences, and trade shows to network and generate leads.
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in project sales or solution sales of IT hardware and networking products (active & passive).
- Proven track record of success in selling to government agencies, particularly within the Rail or Refinery sectors.
- Strong network of contacts within government nodal agencies.
- In-depth knowledge of IT hardware and networking solutions, including servers, storage, networking equipment, and security solutions.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong negotiation and closing skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Willingness to travel within the assigned territory (Delhi or Kolkata).
- Must be currently working in a System Integration company. Candidates from OEMs will not be considered.
