Responsibilities & Key DeliverablesShould have a clear understanding of internal combustion engine and its sub systems, battery pack and motorShould have a on hand experience of 3D CAD software like CATIA(preferred) or UG NXAdequate knowledge in CAE and CFD related to internal combustion engineAdequate Knowledge in DFMEA, DFC, DFM and DFSShould have sufficient knowledge in detailing, tolerance stack up and GD&TBOM preparation and maintainingNeed to have casting and machining process knowledgeAbility to interact with development team and supplier for component developmentVersatile to work with support system teams and address the integration related concernAbility to resolve vehicle level integration concernsAbility to address the manufacturing and build issues with supplier and plant teamStandards and Guidelines prepartaionExperience3 to 5 yearsIndustry PreferredAutomobile - OEM - Development Group, supplierQualificationsB.E. in mechanical engineering, automobile or mechatronicsGeneral Requirements1) Liasioning/Networking skills
2) Good communication skills
3) Openness to work in dynamic and demanding work conditions1) Hands on experience on UG, CATIA, AUTOCAD Design of gasoline/Diesel Engine components (crankcase, crankshaft,camshaft, cylinder head)and E-powertrain
2) Over-all Engine , Engine Sub-systems and Components Design: Keeps pace with emerging trends and related application.
3) 3D modelling and 2D drg preperation
4 Strong fundamentals of GD&T and Tolerance stack up analysis
5) Proficient in base level calculations for engine components and systems
6) Knowledge of tolerance stack-up of complex assemblies
7) Should be able to interpret CAE / CFD results for required corrective actions
8) Knowledge in DFMEA, DFC, DFM and DFS
9) Documentation and presentation preparation for Guidelines/Audit
