Job OverviewWe are looking for a candidate who is result driven, self-motivated, an innovative designer with sound knowledge in creating 3d model and assembly in Autodesk Inventor.A Day In The Life

Use 3D modeling software to design products and components
Input and track associate parts required for design and generate a BOM & costing.
Work with marketing team members to assess customer feedback and align to product development.
Create, develop, evaluate new product design concepts following ANSI, IEC, IEEE & Telcordia standards.
Conduct design for manufacturability events.
Coordinate and perform experiments to test and verify product design.
Track progress and action items for ongoing design projects.
Participate in Kaizen improvement events.
Assisting in troubleshooting and root cause failure analysis for product enhancement.
Attend seminars and conferences to be up to date on connector technology

What will help you thrive in this role?Minimum 6-8 yrs. Design Engineer, with focus on Medium/High Voltage connectors and fiber optic products/accessories, will lead and participate in New Product Development for distribution, substation, transmission, and communication market products.Knowledge in plastic designs, 3D printing & prototype development.Should have working knowledge in Autodesk inventor & Solid worksi-logic, form, template creation in Inventor, Auto CAD, Mold flow simulation
