- Collaborate with account teams to understand customer requirements and align technologies to meet business outcomes.
- Deliver compelling technical presentations, product demonstrations, and architecture discussions.
- Design and configure solutions across architecture portfolio (networking, data center, software, and services), with a specialization in Data Center technologies.
- Provide strategic and in-depth technical support throughout the sales cycle, from discovery to proposal development and post-sale transition.
- Act as a technical thought leader and trusted advisor to customers, aligning technology recommendations with business goals.
- Coordinate with internal teams and technical experts (e.g., consulting engineers, demo labs) to create and deliver comprehensive solutions.
- Translate complex customer needs into actionable architectures and proposals using tools and resources.
- Maintain technical proficiency across offerings and stay updated on industry trends and competitive technologies.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customer stakeholders, including technical influencers and decision-makers.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- 5–10 years of experience in pre-sales engineering, systems engineering, or solutions architecture.
- Proven experience with technologies in a pre-sales capacity.
- Hands-on expertise and deep knowledge in at least two or more of the following areas:
- Compute infrastructure and server hardware
- Hyperconverged infrastructure (HCI)
- Virtualization technologies (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V)
- Storage and backup solutions
- Data Center networking, SDN, and SDS
- Strong understanding of data center portfolio and how it integrates across enterprise architectures.
- Familiarity with performance metrics, scalability considerations, and deployment best practices.
- Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Ability to simplify complex technical topics for varied audiences.
- Proactive, self-motivated, and capable of working independently.
- Excellent collaboration and interpersonal skills.
- Integrity-driven with a passion for customer success.
- Ability to handle multiple priorities and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience with enterprise and/or public sector clients.
- Ability to articulate a technical vision and translate it into tangible business value.
- Industry certifications (e.g., CCNP, CCIE, VMware, etc.) are a plus.
