We are seeking a creative and influential Senior AI Solutions Engineer to join our Enterprise IT AI and Automation Engineering team.In this role, you will be a key driver in democratizing AI across Nielsen. You will partner directly with internal business and technology leaders to understand their unique challenges and then design, build, and deploy rapid proof-of-concept (POC) solutions. More than just a builder, you will be an evangelist, responsible for driving the adoption of these new technologies and leading change management efforts to ensure their success.What You'll Do
  • Collaborate & Design: Partner closely with senior internal stakeholders to identify high-impact business opportunities for Generative AI. You will translate complex business needs into tangible technical requirements and innovative solution designs.
  • Rapid Prototyping & Development: Build functional POCs and applications leveraging Generative AI technologies. This will involve hands-on development using Python and major cloud AI platforms like Google Gemini and AWS Bedrock.
  • Drive Adoption & Evangelize: Champion the adoption of GenAI solutions across the enterprise. Lead change management efforts by creating compelling demonstrations, leading training sessions, and communicating the value proposition to diverse audiences from technical experts to business leaders.
  • Low-Code/No-Code Solutioning: Utilize your expertise in low-code and no-code platforms to rapidly build and iterate on AI-powered tools and workflows, making technology accessible to non-technical users.
  • Stay at the Forefront of Innovation: Continuously research and evaluate emerging GenAI technologies, models, and techniques to ensure Nielsen is leveraging the most effective and efficient solutions.
QualificationsWhat We're Looking ForWe are looking for a motivated individual with a blend of deep technical expertise, strategic thinking, and outstanding communication skills. We encourage you to apply even if you don't meet every single requirement.Required Qualifications:
  • A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a technology-focused role such as a Solutions Engineer, Cloud Engineer, or Software Developer.
  • At least 2 years of direct, hands-on experience designing and building solutions with Generative AI.
  • Strong proficiency in Python and hands-on experience with major cloud AI platforms, specifically Google Cloud (Gemini, Vertex AI Notebooks) and/or AWS (Bedrock).
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with a proven ability to explain complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical senior stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated experience building solutions with low-code/no-code platforms to solve business problems.
  • A collaborative, problem-solving mindset with a passion for learning and innovation.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with technology evangelism and driving change management in a large organization.
  • Deep understanding of core LLM concepts, including Transformers and Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG).
  • Experience with GenAI application frameworks such as LangChain, LlamaIndex, or Semantic Kernel.
  • Experience working in an agile development environment.
