- Define and Standardize: Develop, document, and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for all materials management activities through GIC MM Teams Partnership like

- Raw Material Inventory Targeted Days of Supply Process

- Raw Material Write-off Mitigation Activities
- Process Optimization: Analyze current workflows along with GIC MM teams to identify bottlenecks or inefficiencies. Lead process re-engineering initiatives using Lean/Six Sigma methodologies to improve throughput and accuracy and partner implementation with GIC MM teams.
- Material Master Ownership: Oversee the integrity of the Material Master Data (e.g., Part Numbers, BOMs, Unit of Measures, Weight/Dim data) in the ERP system along with GIC MM teams
- Improve analytical insights and build a strategy to optimize inventory, reduce cost and drive Holistic Margin Management
- Own the governance and health of Materials Management planning standards and capabilities.
- Define and measure Materials Management KPIs; leverage GIC Planning Hub resources to provide regular reporting to enable cross-segment/region and cross-category assessment of gaps and opportunities.
- Own development of learning materials and plan in partnership with the L&D team for the Materials Management community and onboarding of new members.
- Lead and support Network optimization projects and activities
- Lead NPW projects and the HMM projects, along with improving current tools & technologies
- Lead / Design the transformation or improvement projects to improve efficiency in RM by Partnering with GIC MM Teams.
- Yearly revisit of strategy along with GIC MM teams and business process to evaluate whether the current process meets the needs of current business dynamics
- Apply project management discipline and Continuous Improvement tools to ensure high-quality Operation Management and instill in business partners/ stakeholders, including Plants.
- Lead change management for key stakeholders to ensure a positive experience
- Provide thought leadership and execution leadership to the GIC MM organization, deliver higher value projects/services
- Drive continuous improvement by analysing current processes and implementing new forecasting methodologies, tools, and techniques to reduce effort and improve results.
- Maintain and develop relationships with key partners across planning teams to encourage best practice sharing and cross-functional collaboration.
- Partner and understand stakeholders’ requirements across all regional raw material planning teams and Raw Material POD’s collaborate for business solution development.
- Collaborate with sourcing and suppliers across the globe for process standardization and governance.
- Identifies and removes barriers allowing for optimum performance and results from the team.
- Promote the culture of internal job rotations by leveraging cross-functional training to reduce business outages due to rotations.
- Develop leaders within the organization through effective coaching and mentorship. Ensure succession plan for all critical roles.
- Empower people to lead from every seat, fostering a culture of collaboration to drive maximum performance and accountability.
- Ensure efforts towards employee engagement and retention. · Identify individual training development needs and provide an opportunity to improve by leveraging L&D or an external platform
- Education – Full-time graduation from an accredited university (Mandatory- Note: This is the minimum education criteria which cannot be altered)
- Master’s in Business Administration (MBA) – with specialization in Supply Chain, Operations Management
- Preferred Major: Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, Operations
- Certifications:
- Preferred: CSCP, PMP, Six Sigma, Supply Chain Analytics
- Minimum: 6+ years of related experience
- Preferred: 8-10 years of related experience
- 4+ years in a people management role
- Knowledge of third-party tools and technologies related to Materials Management
- Knowledge of other Planning tools and technologies and how they impact Supply planning
- Understanding of Integrated Business Planning and commercial processes.
- Ability to influence and communicate with business and functional leaders.
