- Lead the design, formulation, and optimization of hybrid, silicone, PU, and other sealants.
- Evaluate new raw materials, curing systems, and facilitate local sourcing.
- Conduct laboratory testing (tensile, adhesion, rheology, peel, weathering, fire resistance) aligned with ASTM, ISO, EN, and DIN standards.
- Drive lab-to-plant scale-up, troubleshoot production challenges, and ensure robust product commercialization.
- Provide on-site and off-site technical support to customers, including product demonstrations, application guidance, and troubleshooting.
- Review customer designs, specifications, and construction drawings to ensure correct product selection and application.
- Deliver hands-on application training and mock-up demonstrations for contractors, applicators, and project consultants.
- Work closely with the commercial team to promote products, support key customer trials, and win specifications in major projects.
- To work in Lab doing experimentation, testing and help in converting opportunities to successful commercial sales and identify new leads that will deliver profitable growth
- Develop and maintain technical specifications for products in line with local, international standards and regional building codes.
- Collaborate with developers, main contractors, consultants, façade contractors, interior contractors and architects to position products in specifications.
- Support preparation of technical data sheets, safety data sheets, and certification package for technical presentation to relevant stakeholders.
- Partner with marketing, sales, technical team local & global and procurement to accelerate product launches and meet customer requirements.
- Contribute to product positioning and differentiation in alignment with market trends.
- Support customer events, technical seminars, and product promotions alongside the commercial team.
- Master’s or bachelor’s degree in Polymer Science, Chemistry, Materials Science, or Chemical Engineering.
- ~15 years of experience in sealants/adhesives formulation, application technology
- Proven expertise in hybrid polymer technologies, silane-modified polymers, silicone and PU systems.
- Strong knowledge of adhesion science, curing mechanisms, and durability testing.
- Experience in customer-facing technical service, specification work, and application demonstrations.
- Familiarity with construction standards and building codes relevant to sealing & bonding.
- Ability to build credibility with consultants, architects, and applicators through technical authority.
- Hands-on experience and comfort with both lab development work, scale up and on-site application support.
- Track record of successful specification inclusion in major projects related to construction segment.
- Entrepreneurial mindset with ability to balance technical rigor with commercial impact.
- Strong communication, presentation, and project management skills.
- Relocation assistance is not available with this position.
- The role is an onsite role, and the person is expected to be in office all the 5 days a week
