Manager / Manager - Design (Automobile)Location: PuneExperience: 3- 8 YearsIndustry: AutomobileQualification: M.Tech / BE / B.Tech (Mechanical / Electrical)We are looking for experienced professionals in Automotive Plastic Design with strong expertise in body parts and trims development.Key Responsibilities :- Design & development of plastic body parts and trims (Fender, Fairing, Side Panels, Body Covers, Seat Base Plastics, etc.)- 3D CAD modelling using UG NX / CATIA- Data management through PLM - Teamcenter- Perform CAE / FEA validation using ANSYS / Hypermesh- Apply GD&T, DFMEA, DFM, and Tolerance Stack-up analysis- Ensure injection molding feasibility & tooling readiness- Identify and resolve plastic defects (sink marks, warpage, weld lines, shrinkage)- Coordinate closely with Testing, Tooling, and Supplier/Vendor teams- Support product development from concept to productionRequired Skills:- Strong hands-on experience in CAD modelling (UG NX / CATIA)- Experience with PLM tools like Teamcenter or equivalent- Good understanding of plastic part design guidelines & manufacturing processes- Knowledge of CAE validation and structural analysis- Strong problem-solving and cross-functional coordination skills
