Assistant Manager/Manager- Product DevelopmentJob Location: PuneRole summary:The product developmentrole closely works with the leadership team including the top management and different heads at Pune and Mumbai. The role is responsible for supporting the vision and growth of the hygiene business by creating and developing new products and improving existing products role involves procurement, coordination, project management skill, being innovative, of a box thinker, and someone who is with strong business acumen.Detailed Responsibilities:Create and enhance products that fill a niche in the market allowing the organisation to remain competitive in hygiene products.
Determine product specifications according to a number of various factors and uses- identify opportunities in the market based on customer segments, needs, prices, trends of the products and market,
Support manufacturing and design activities by developing prototypes for products in development.
Develop the business case for new product and improve existing products
Work closely with the sales team to collect data related to product market share, pricing, features, and ideas to develop viable products in the hygiene
segment
work with the sales team to test the market and market acceptability of the products (NPD)
Submit proposals and designs for evaluation by the project team and management before moving to the next stage.
Connect with existing and prospective customers and create marketing content(Features, benefits of the products)Qualification (mandate)
Bachelor's or Master’s in Chemistry, Chemicals or Business or
MBA in Marketing, engineering, or industrial designerAdditional Qualification
M.Tech in Oils and Surfactants (Added advantage)Skills
Proven working experience as a product development or in a related field.
Exceptional analytical and conceptual thinking skills.The ability to influence stakeholders and work closely with them to determineacceptable solutions.
