Key ObjectiveThe role entails providing end to end support for desktop operations and systemcenter configuration manager Current Branch for application deployment andpatching windows 10 and Windows 11 platforms.Location BangaloreHours of Work The hours of work for this role as shown below (all times are UK time)Monday to Friday 08.00 - 17.00 or 09.00 - 18.00 for the completion of fullsupport workNB UK time is either 4.5 or 5.5 hours behind IST and varies with the use of daylightsaving time during the summer months.The Desktop Services team is responsible for managing and securing endpointdevices across the organization using Microsoft Intune. Their core duties includedeploying and provisioning devices via Autopilot, enforcing compliance andconfiguration policies, and managing both corporate and BYOD devices throughMDM. They ensure seamless application deployment across Windows, iOS, andAndroid platforms, troubleshoot OS and enrolment issues, and maintain devicehealth through proactive monitoring and reporting. The team also leveragesPowerShell scripting for automation, supports OS upgrades, and maintainscomprehensive documentation including SOPs and knowledge base articles toensure consistent and efficient operations.The team's responsibility extends to users around the world.Skill Set Required:Primary Skills:Extensive experience in Microsoft Intune administration, includingAutopilot deployments, device provisioning, and application deployments.Strong expertise in creating and troubleshooting Configuration Profiles,Compliance Policies, App Protection Policies, and App ConfigurationPolicies.Hands-on experience with Mobile Device Management (MDM) for bothDEP (corporate-owned) and BYOD (personally owned) devices, ensuringsecure and seamless enrolment.Proficient in managing Windows 10/11 devices through Intune, includingOS updates, policy enforcement, and security baselines.Capable of creating and deploying Win32 and Line-of-Business (LOB)applications to Windows endpoints.Familiar with deploying VPP and private applications to iOS and AndroidJob Specifications for Desktop Operation Analystdevices.Skilled in reviewing logs and diagnosing issues related to Autopilot failures,application deployment errors, and general enrolment challenges.Ability to monitor tenant health, generate compliance and operationalreports, and interpret insights for proactive issue resolution.Experience in creating and using PowerShell/Remediation scripts forautomation and device management tasks.Troubleshooting OS deployment issues and performing Windows 10/11 OSupgrades.Strong documentation skills, including drafting Knowledge Base (KB)articles and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for technical andoperational tasks.SuccessCharacteristicsGood English communication - verbal and written.Ability to work both as an effective team member and independentlyAbility to work under pressureTenacity in problem solvingTotal Experience Must have at least 5 years of experience on Intune and Windows platform.Certification MD-102: Endpoint Administrator (Preferred)
