The Senior PPC Engineer is responsible for end-to-end production planning, scheduling, and control to ensure maximum productivity, optimal resource utilization, and on-time delivery of PCBs. This role involves transforming customer orders into detailed production plans, managing raw material inventory, and coordinating across departments (sales, production, engineering) to meet targets while minimizing waste.Key Responsibilities
  • Production Planning & Scheduling: Develop daily, weekly, and monthly production schedules based on customer forecasts and plant capacity (machine and manpower).
  • Material Coordination: Manage Raw Material (RM) requirements (e.g., copper-clad laminates, prepreg, chemicals) by coordinating with procurement and stores to ensure zero line stoppage.
  • PCB Workflow Management: Oversee the entire production process from fabrication, drilling, plating, etching, and lamination to final assembly.
  • ERP/SAP Management: Utilize SAP (specifically PP/MM modules) for BOM (Bill of Materials) verification, WO (Work Order) creation, and material requirement planning (MRP).
  • Capacity Analysis & Efficiency: Analyze capacity, lead times, and OEE (Overall Equipment Effectiveness) to optimize production flow.
  • Customer Liaison: Update order status and manage customer requirements in coordination with sales engineers.
  • Troubleshooting: Address production bottlenecks, defects, or delays promptly, and implement corrective actions.
  • Documentation: Maintain meticulous documentation for production, including daily delivery compliance, WIP (Work in Progress), and Finished Goods (FG) reports.
Required Qualifications
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Production, Electronics, or Industrial Engineering).
  • Experience: 5–10 years of experience in PPC, specifically within PCB manufacturing or electronics fabrication.
