- Oversee and actively manage an engaging, up-to-date website showcasing Dolby's research lab, including researcher profiles, featured scientists, and top publications.
- Collaborate with organizational leadership to identify highlights, key achievements, and high priority technology content.
- Conduct interviews with researchers to develop compelling blog posts and feature articles on a regular basis (e.g., bi-weekly or monthly).
- Write high-quality, accessible blog posts, tech articles, and web content that translate complex research (e.g., AI, spatial audio, XR) into compelling narratives for diverse audiences-scientists, engineers, and potential talent.
- Develop and curate content to showcase major Dolby technologies, demonstrations, and demo videos, ensuring a dynamic and visually appealing experience.
- Keep sites evergreen with fresh updates, reflecting the latest breakthroughs and talent stories.
- Position Dolby Research as a global leader through strategic content that enhances brand reputation and attracts top-tier talent worldwide.
- Collaborate with Dolby Marketing and Dolby.com content creators to align messaging and amplify reach.
- Strong understanding of the Research and Innovation strategy of Dolby to select and curate content.
- Education: Bachelor's degree or higher in Science, Technology, Engineering, or a related field (e.g., Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Physics).
- Experience: 7+ years of experience in technical product marketing or related roles, supporting deeply technical products and audiences. Experience in website creation, maintenance, and content development, with a proven track record of managing tech-focused sites is a plus.
- Technical Background: You've worked as an engineer, solutions architect or developer and can hold your own in deeply technical conversations. You understand how engineers think and what they care about.
- Strategic Market Awareness: You don't just write content, you think about why it matters, who it's for, and how it fits into the broader Dolby brand. You have a track-record of translating complex technologies into clear, credible, and engaging stories with differentiated value.
- Proven Content Execution: You've published engaging technical blogs, articles, or white papers for a research or high-tech audience that your audience read and use. You're comfortable owning the editorial calendar and executing on it.
- Cross-Functional Execution: You've worked closely with industrial research, engineering, creative, product, and marketing teams. You're organized, self-directed, and capable of driving initiatives forward in a fast-paced environment.
