Central COO - VP Position Overview Job Title: Business Management Lead Location: Mumbai Corporate Title: Vice President Role Description Deutsche Bank Private Bank The Private Bank combines Deutsche Bank's private clients business in Germany and its international business with private and commercial clients together with Wealth Management in a single division. In both the domestic German market and worldwide the Private Bank provides high-quality advice to over 20 million clients and a broad range of financial services in 19 countries - ranging from day-to-day banking services right through to advisory services for sophisticated Private Banking and Wealth Management clients. The role is part of a PB Central COO team extension reporting into Mumbai lead and responsible for managing the business financials working closely with stakeholders globally. Support Cost & FTE Management which includes maintenance of hiring pipeline & other FTE housekeeping activities. Support various planning rounds incl. adjustments of planning scenarios, alignment with global planning team including uploading plan in system Cost Deep dives and providing Commentaries on ExCo / Monthly Review Meetings. Support / run specific cost driver analysis and working closely with the Marketing team to manage cost targets. Project can be with specific focus or could have global background and across different regions. Additionally, the role requires taking up wider responsibilities on number of topics within PB and as per management priorities. Your skills and experience Excellent stakeholder management, strong communication skills and escalation management Thorough understanding of financial concepts in banking industry and can provide management with insightful analysis. Ability to constructively challenge senior colleagues. Ability to manage team and provide career guidance. In depth experience in budgeting and forecasting of cost and FTE's. Strong analytical, writing and communication skills Personal characteristics: Graduation from top management college or Chartered Accountant Ability to work independently as well as flexibly within intra or inter-departmental groups.
