- Drive disbursement and portfolio growth of Crop Loan products in the assigned region.
- Achieve revenue, P&L, and productivity targets as per business plans.
- Identify new business opportunities through farmer groups, cooperatives, FPOs, input dealers, and rural institutions.
- Implement region-specific strategies to increase customer penetration and cross-sell other agri/retail banking products.
- Lead, manage, and mentor a team of Area/Branch Managers, Sales Officers, and Credit Officers.
- Build a high-performance culture through capability development, motivation, and periodic performance reviews.
- Drive recruitment, training, and retention of frontline sales & credit teams.
- Ensure high portfolio quality by adhering to credit underwriting policies and prudent risk management practices.
- Monitor delinquency, NPAs, and take corrective actions to minimize risks.
- Ensure compliance with internal controls, audit, and regulatory requirements.
- Develop strong relationships with farmers, FPOs, local panchayats, agri-input dealers, and government departments.
- Stay updated with crop patterns, agri-economy trends, rainfall/irrigation updates, and policy changes impacting farmers.
- Provide regular feedback to product teams for process improvements and policy refinements.
- Drive adherence to process TATs in loan sourcing, appraisal, sanction, and disbursement.
- Ensure effective use of digital platforms and technology solutions for sourcing and monitoring.
- Maintain accurate MIS and submit reports to Zonal/Corporate Office as required.

- Graduate / Post-Graduate in Agriculture, Agri-Business Management, Rural Management, or MBA (Finance/Marketing).
- 10-15 years of experience in Agri Lending, preferably in Crop Loan / Kisan Credit Card / Rural Finance domain.
- Minimum 3-5 years in a regional leadership role managing multiple states/districts.
- Strong knowledge of agri-lending, crop cycles, and rural customer behavior.
- Leadership & team management skills with ability to drive large field force.
- Analytical and problem-solving ability with strong P&L orientation.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management.
