Inviting applications for the role of LSH Analytics, Assistant Manager (Media Research/ Intelligence/ Insights)! We are looking for an Assistant Manager who would be contributing to client strategy by researching and analyzing secondary media data, creating top-quality media monitoring & measurement reports, and formulating actionable business insights. Responsibilities: . In-depth understanding of the various mainstream and social media platforms and the inherent differences between them . Ability to formulate robust search queries with the help of exhaustive list of relevant/ in-scope search terms and Boolean operators to perform secondary research in various data sources . Ability to study large volumes of structured and unstructured media data and draw actionable insights from them . Ability to manage media monitoring & insights projects from nascent stages and transition them to stable states . Ability to use and blend different media research specific KPIs and metrics like sentimental analysis, engagement level, AVE, influencer mapping, theme analysis, key messages etc. with the aim of creating convincing narratives which help clients solve business problems . Ability to understand how brands harness the power of media and how it impacts customers and help build great brand reputation . Ability to work as an extended team of clients (mainly PR Agencies, Corporate Communications & Marketing teams of corporates) and help them meet their business objectives . Possess sharp report making, summarizing, insights generation and storyboarding skills - ability to analyze and interpret data using a variety of mainstream and social media tools, secondary research, digital analytics platforms, and other related tools . Exposure to news aggregation tools and working knowledge of databases like Factiva, Brandwatch Cision, LexisNexis, Meltwater, Social Studio, TVEyes, and other business applications such as MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint . Ability to effectively use various storyboarding techniques to present insights in a compelling, but easy to easy-to-understand fashion . Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. Ability to articulate thoughts well and confidently communicate them to Marketing & Communications Team/Professionals of PR Agencies/Corporates via tele-calls and emails . 5 days a week work schedule - willingness to work flexibly in different time shifts Qualifications we seek in you! Minimum qualifications . Graduate degree (any), preferably followed by MBA . Relevant experience in market research methodologies and techniques . Excellent MS Office skills (Advanced Excel, PowerPoint, Word) . Excellent business writing and communication skills . Knowledge about traditional, social, and digital media research & analytics . Strong analytical and critical thinking skills . Ability to generate insights and inferences from facts/ data . Ability to analyze, organize and integrate large amounts of information into clear, concise and coherent summaries and insights (media monitoring & insights reports) . Relevant experience in executing traditional and social media monitoring and analysis projects end-to-end . Seasoned professional with experience in end-to-end project management, strong problem solving & communication skills (both verbal and written) . Ability to work under tight deadlines and willingness to flexibly work based on business requirements Preferred Qualifications/ Skills . Personal drive and positive work ethic to drive and deliver results in demanding situations . Flexibility to adapt to a variety of project situations and start contributing with minimum ramp-up time . Should be a great team player . Should be dependable and able to follow business guidelines . Should possess an eye for detail . Good to have: Understanding of the pharmaceutical, CPG and retail industry . Good to have: Experience working with popular mainstream and social media monitoring tools or management tools .
