As part of our strategic growth, we are seeking an experienced and dynamic professional to join us as an Assistant Manager, focusing on New Client Acquisition for our Bangalore location. Key Responsibilities: Strategic Planning: Develop and execute strategic plans for new client acquisition, aligning with overall company goals. Identify key target markets and industries for business expansion. Team Leadership: Lead and motivate a high-performance team responsible for new client acquisition. Provide guidance and support to team members to achieve sales targets. Market Analysis: Conduct thorough market analysis to identify emerging trends and potential clients. Stay informed about industry developments and competitor activities. Client Engagement: Personally engage with key prospective clients and build lasting relationships. Oversee the development of compelling proposals and presentations. Sales Strategy Development: Formulate and implement effective sales strategies to acquire new clients. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with operational capabilities. Negotiation and Contract Closure: Lead negotiations with key clients to secure new business contracts. Work closely with legal and finance teams to finalize agreements. Performance Monitoring: Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) for the new client acquisition team. Monitor and evaluate team performance against set targets. Reporting and Analysis: Provide regular reports to senior management on the status of new client acquisition activities. Analyze sales data to derive actionable insights for continuous improvement. Qualifications: Bachelors degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, or a related field. Extensive experience in a managerial role with a focus on new client acquisition in the shipping and forwarding industry. In-depth knowledge of logistics, supply chain, and shipping processes. Proven track record of successfully acquiring new clients and achieving sales targets. Exceptional leadership and team management skills. Strong negotiation, communication, and presentation abilities. Proficiency In MS Office And CRM Software. Expertise Strategic thinker with a forward-looking approach to business development. Results-oriented with a commitment to achieving and exceeding sales objectives. Strong interpersonal and networking skills. Ability to thrive in a dynamic and competitive business environment. Exceptional decision-making and problem-solving capabilities.
