- Perform on-site installation, commissioning, preventive maintenance, and corrective repairs of engineering equipment and systems.
- Diagnose and resolve complex technical issues using systematic troubleshooting techniques and diagnostic tools.
- Maintain accurate and detailed service records using company CRM and maintenance management software.
- Collaborate with engineering and product development teams to report field issues, performance trends, and product improvement feedback.
- Provide technical support and guidance to clients during equipment operation and training sessions.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards, environmental regulations, and company quality protocols during all field activities.
- Manage spare parts inventory and coordinate with logistics for timely procurement and delivery.
- Travel to client locations across Bangalore and surrounding regions as required, often on short notice.
- Participate in continuous training and certification programs to stay updated on new technologies and product updates.
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Mechatronics Engineering (or equivalent technical qualification).
- 2–5 years of hands-on experience in field service, maintenance, or technical support within industrial or engineering environments.
- Proven experience with troubleshooting and repairing industrial machinery, control systems, or automation equipment.
- Proficiency in using diagnostic tools, multimeters, oscilloscopes, and PLC-based systems.
- Strong understanding of safety protocols, lockout/tagout (LOTO), and OSHA or ISO standards.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work autonomously under pressure.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to explain technical issues to non-technical stakeholders.
- Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel locally and occasionally overnight.
- Familiarity with CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management Systems) and service ticketing platforms.
