- Develop and implement daily, weekly, and monthly production plans in alignment with sales orders and delivery schedules.
- Monitor production progress and adjust plans to meet changing priorities and urgent requirements.
- Ensure optimum utilization of plant capacity and minimize downtime.
- Coordinate with production, maintenance, and quality teams for smooth operations.
- Drive efficiency improvements in corrugation, printing, slotting, and finishing processes.
- Ensure inventory levels of raw material, paper reels, inks, and adhesives are maintained as per production requirements.
- Lead, guide, and mentor production planning & shop-floor teams.
- Foster collaboration across sales, procurement, logistics, and quality departments for seamless order execution.
- Ensure proper workforce allocation and shift planning.
- Implement lean manufacturing practices, process optimization, and waste reduction initiatives.
- Track KPIs like machine efficiency, productivity, wastage, and downtime.
- Propose and implement cost-effective measures to improve overall plant performance.
- Ensure timely order fulfilment with adherence to quality standards.
- Address bottlenecks and proactively resolve issues impacting delivery commitments.
- Drive continuous improvement to enhance customer satisfaction.
- Ensure all safety, statutory, and environmental norms are adhered to in plant operations.
- Promote a culture of workplace safety and hygiene
- Strong expertise in production planning & scheduling in Automatic Corrugation Plants.
- Knowledge of corrugation machinery, paper grades, and box manufacturing processes.
- Proficiency in production planning tools.
- Excellent leadership, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
- Strong analytical skills with focus on efficiency and cost optimization.
- Effective communication and cross-functional coordination skills
