- On-Page SEO Optimization: Assist in optimizing web pages by implementing on-page SEO strategies such as keyword research, content optimization, meta tags (title, description), header tags, internal linking, and URL structure.
- Keyword Research: Conduct keyword research using tools like Google Keyword Planner, SEMrush, or Ahrefs to identify relevant keywords for content optimization.
- Content Optimization: Help optimize existing website content for search engines by incorporating targeted keywords and ensuring it aligns with SEO best practices.
- Website Audits: Assist in performing on-page SEO audits to identify technical SEO issues and areas for improvement, such as broken links, slow-loading pages, or duplicate content.
- Competitor Analysis: Analyze competitors websites and identify SEO strategies that can be implemented to enhance the website's performance.
- SEO Reporting: Support the team in tracking and reporting SEO metrics using tools like Google Analytics and Google Search Console.
- SEO Content Strategy: Assist in developing SEO-friendly content strategies, including blog posts, product descriptions, and landing pages to boost search engine visibility.
- Website Optimization: Help in improving website usability and user experience (UX) while keeping SEO in mind, such as optimizing images and improving page load speed.
- Learning & Development: Stay up-to-date with the latest SEO trends, Google algorithm updates, and industry best practices.
- Education: Pursuing or completed a degree in Marketing, Communications, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Experience: 0-1 year of experience in on-page SEO or digital marketing (internship or freelance work is a plus).
- Skills:
- Basic understanding of SEO principles, including keyword research, on-page optimization, and search engine ranking factors.
- Familiarity with SEO tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Google Search Console, SEMrush, Ahrefs, etc.).
- Basic knowledge of HTML and website structure for implementing on-page SEO changes.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to track and report on SEO performance.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to work independently as well as within a team.
- Strong desire to learn and grow in the field of SEO.
- Self-motivated and proactive with a problem-solving attitude.
- Good communication skills (both written and verbal).
- Organized with the ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
- Passion for staying updated with SEO trends, digital marketing, and search engine developments.
- 0-1 year of experience in on-page SEO, either through internships, personal projects, or freelance work.
- Previous exposure to keyword research, meta tags, content optimization, or website audits is a plus.
