PhD in Computer Science, Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Engineering, or related field and 4+ years of Hardware Engineering or related work experience.Role Overview:We are looking for experienced engineers with strong expertise in FPGA Prototyping and Emulation to join our team at Qualcomm Bangalore. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in building, validating, and debugging complex SoC/IP designs using FPGA prototyping and emulation platforms.Key Responsibilities:

Develop and maintain FPGA-based prototypes and emulation environments for SoC/IP validation.

Integrate and validate high-speed and low-speed interfaces on emulation/FPGA platforms.

Collaborate with design and verification teams to ensure functional correctness and performance.

Debug hardware/software issues and provide timely solutions.

Optimize prototyping/emulation flows for faster turnaround and improved coverage.

Preferred Qualifications:

6 to 10 years of experience in FPGA Design/FPGA Prototyping (A Must).

Good understanding of FPGA architecture, RTL design (Verilog/SystemVerilog), integration, and static timing analysis.

Familiarity with high-speed and low speed protocols such as PCIe, UFS, USB, EMAC, I2C, SPI, UART.

Familiarity with DDR interfaces and memory subsystem integration.

Hands-on experience with FPGA prototyping and/or Emulation platforms.

Good understanding of SoC architecture and verification methodologies.

Strong debugging and problem-solving skills.

Experience with scripting languages (Python, TCL) for automation.

Exposure to software bring-up on FPGA/emulation platforms.

Education:

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical/Electronics Engineering or related field.
