This role ensures that airside facilities such as runways, taxiways, aprons, drainage systems, and water treatment plants are maintained effectively, contributing to safe and uninterrupted airport operations.Responsibilities:Data Collection and Analysis:Gather expenditure and cost data from engineering and maintenance teams for analysis.Support in reconciling actual expenses against budgeted amounts and identifying discrepancies.Assist in preparing periodic cost summaries for review by the Assistant Budget Manager.Maintenance of Airside Civil Infrastructure:Execute maintenance schedules for civil infrastructure including runways, taxiways, aprons, and perimeter walls to ensure high availability and safety.Respond to urgent maintenance requests and breakdowns promptly, ensuring minimal disruption to airport operations.Coordination with Contractors and Vendors:Supervise contractors performing maintenance activities, ensuring that work meets safety and regulatory standards.Monitor vendor performance and ensure that materials, tools, and equipment are available as needed for uninterrupted maintenance work.Compliance with Regulatory Standards:Ensure compliance with safety regulations such as DGCA, ICAO, and NFPA in the operation and maintenance of airside infrastructure.Regularly check and audit all airside facilities to ensure they meet all legal and safety requirements, reporting any non-compliance immediately.Preventive and Predictive Maintenance Planning:Plan and execute preventive maintenance activities to minimize downtime of key airside assets.Perform condition assessments on infrastructure to predict potential failures and schedule maintenance accordingly, optimizing asset performance.Safety and Operational Efficiency:Promote safety by strictly following and implementing OHSAS and DGCA safety guidelines during maintenance operations.Improve operational efficiency by actively participating in safety audits, routine checks, and compliance reviews, ensuring the highest safety standards on airside facilities.Report Preparation:Prepare basic financial reports, including budget utilization and variance summaries.Provide input for creating cost-trend analysis charts and dashboards.Ensure timely submission of reports to supervisors for decision-making.Key Stakeholders - Internal:Associate - Airside CivilAirport Operations TeamSecurity TeamCompliance TeamProcurement TeamAirport Management.Key Stakeholders - External:ContractorsVendorsRegulatory Authorities (DGCA, ICAO)AirlinesExternal Service Providers.Qualifications:Educational Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, or a related technical field.Work Experience:3-5 years of experience in civil maintenance, with specific exposure to airside infrastructure operations in an airport setting.
