This position is responsible for ensuring that civil infrastructure elements such as pavements, drainage systems, and other structural components are properly maintained and function optimally, contributing to the seamless operation of airport activities. The role involves collaborating with multiple teams to carry out repairs, manage maintenance activities, and ensure safety and regulatory compliance.Responsibilities:Civil Infrastructure Maintenance & Operational Support:Perform routine maintenance and repairs on various civil infrastructure, such as pavements, drainage, and structural components, ensuring their functionality and safety.Conduct inspections to identify and address wear and tear, implementing proactive measures to prevent system failures and ensure continuous operation.Troubleshooting & Emergency Repairs:Troubleshoot issues with civil infrastructure, such as structural damage, cracks in pavements, or drainage blockages, to identify root causes and provide timely solutions.Respond to emergency maintenance requests and carry out repairs quickly to minimize disruptions to airport operations and ensure passenger safety.Coordination of Maintenance Activities:Work closely with airside operations, ground crews, and security teams to schedule and coordinate maintenance activities, ensuring that infrastructure maintenance does not disrupt flight schedules.Ensure that all maintenance activities are performed in compliance with safety protocols, minimizing risks during execution.Inventory Management:Analyze inventory data to identify trends in consumption and reorder patterns.Collaborate with maintenance teams to ensure timely procurement and availability of required parts and materials.Perform regular stock audits and inventory reconciliations.Vendor & Contractor Coordination:Support the management of external contractors and vendors involved in civil maintenance activities, ensuring that they meet the required service standards and deliver work on time.Assist in tracking vendor performance, ensuring that maintenance activities are completed according to contract specifications and within agreed timelines.Regulatory Compliance & Safety Assurance:Ensure that all maintenance work adheres to relevant safety standards and regulatory requirements, keeping the airport's civil infrastructure compliant with local and international guidelines.Conduct regular audits and inspections of civil infrastructure to ensure continuous safety and compliance, making adjustments as necessary.Documentation & Reporting:Maintain accurate records of all maintenance and repair activities, including detailed reports on the condition of infrastructure and the nature of repairs undertaken.Assist in preparing monthly or quarterly reports for senior management, highlighting the status of infrastructure maintenance and any significant issues that need attention.Key Stakeholders - Internal:Lead - CivilAirport Operations TeamGround Handling TeamSecurity TeamCompliance and Safety TeamFinance TeamIT and Systems TeamProcurement TeamKey Stakeholders - External:Airport Contractors and VendorsRegulatory Authorities (e.g., DGCA)Suppliers of Maintenance Equipment and MaterialsLocal Government and Municipal AgenciesAirlines (related to maintenance schedules impacting operations)Qualifications:Education Qualification:Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or a related field from a recognized institution.Additional certifications in relevant maintenance and operational fields (e.g., OSHA, PMP) are advantageous.Work Experience:5-7 years of experience in civil infrastructure maintenance or operations, ideally within an airport or large infrastructure setting.
