Prepare 2D floor plans, furniture layouts, and basic elevations using AutoCAD or similar tools.
Create 3D visualizations and renders (using SketchUp, 3ds Max, VRay, Lumion, etc.) to present design schemes to clients and stakeholders.
Select and finalize finishes, furniture, lighting, and decorative elements in line with budget, functionality, and brand or client requirements.
Prepare material boards, finish schedules, and technical notes for contractors and vendors.
Coordinate with architects, MEP consultants, contractors, and vendors to ensure smooth execution and adherence to design intent.
Visit project sites regularly to supervise work, check workmanship, resolve issues, and ensure quality.
Manage design timelines and budgets, ensuring that deliverables are completed on schedule and within agreed costs.
Stay updated on interior design trends, materials, and technologies, and apply them appropriately to projects.Required Qualifications & ExperienceBachelor’s degree in Interior Design / Interior Architecture / Architecture / Fine Arts or equivalent.
5–8 years of experience in interior design projects (residential, commercial, or both), preferably in Mumbai or a tier1 city.
Strong portfolio showcasing completed interior projects (layouts, 3D visuals, and realsite photos where available).
Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, 3ds Max / VRay / Lumion, Photoshop / Illustrator.
Good understanding of space planning, color theory, lighting design, and material specifications.
Strong communication, presentation, and clienthandling skills.Preferred SkillsPrior experience in luxury residential, corporate offices, retail, or hospitality interiors is a plus.
Familiarity with project documentation such as RFIs, change orders, and site reports.
Basic understanding of sustainable design practices and modular or spaceefficient solutions.Work EnvironmentOffice location in Mumbai with frequent travel to project sites across the city and nearby locations.
