- Manage end-to-end BI project implementation – from initiation to closure
- Elicit, analyze, and document functional and technical requirements
- Define project scope and develop comprehensive project plans with schedules, deliverables, and milestones
- Identify, track, and mitigate project risks, issues, and dependencies
- Design and maintain a scalable project structure aligned with delivery methodologies
- Manage scope, timelines, and budgets using formal change management processes
- Coordinate cross-functional project teams and monitor performance against project plans
- Forecast resources and effort requirements accurately
- Act as the primary liaison between vendors, stakeholders, and internal teams
- Drive innovation, process improvement, and standardization within IT
- Provide guidance and enforce adherence to IT policies, standards, and best practices
- Stay updated on industry trends, tools, and best practices in BI and project management
- Strong analytical and metric-driven mindset for continuous improvement
- Proactive, clear, and collaborative communication approach
- Proven ability to apply project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall)
- Skilled in stakeholder engagement, expectation management, and conflict resolution
- Effective in presenting complex information clearly to diverse audiences
- Exceptional interpersonal, negotiation, facilitation, and decision-making skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work independently
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Experience with project tracking tools and timely progress reporting
- Ability to handle scope changes, manage project acceptance, and document revisions under change control
- Minimum 10 years of hands-on project management experience, with a track record of delivering successful IT/BI projects
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (or equivalent professional experience)
- PMP Certification preferred
