Ensure compliance across all compression activities—equipment setup, changeovers, cleaning, in‑process control, and documentation aligned with Batch Manufacturing Records (BMRs), SOPs, and ALCOA+ standards.Oversee both primary (equipment) and secondary (area) clearance before operations begin. Ensure cleaned labels are properly affixed and that previous batch remnants are removed from machinery, logbooks, and accessories.Monitor and authorize the movement of raw materials, finished tablets, operators, and documents strictly following material flow procedures and traffic SOP inside compression zones.Execute compression batches as per monthly production schedule. Submit daily batch-end reports, machine logs, and BMRs to Supervisors / Department Head.Carry out tasks assigned by Senior Compression Officer, Production Head, IPQA, or QA, ensuring deadlines and quality standards are met.Validate and document calibration of critical instruments such as the hardness tester and analytical /precision weighing balances. Schedule checks per SOP and maintain traceable calibration records.Assign tasks to operators and helpers based on skill level and production needs. Monitor manpower productivity, training, and safety/compliance adherence.Support in installing tooling (punches, dies), set up machine parameters (weight, thickness, hardness, feed frame speed), and assist with minor troubleshooting. Ensure minimal downtime and product rejects.Conduct and record checks for weight variation, hardness, friability, visual inspection, etc., at defined intervals. Document results electronically in BMR and logbooks. Highlight deviations to QA as required.
